Applying for jobs is, for many of us, one of the most disheartening things to go through. It's extraordinarily difficult not to take rejections from jobs personally.

One of the big things at any time, but especially in this market, is that people don't want to hire overqualified folks for a job, as they expect the overqualified people will leave when something better comes along. I suspect that's what happened with you and the laundromat.

Here's to the hope of you finding something good soon.

In the meantime, just try to remember that the better you take care of your body in this difficult time, the more lovingly you treat it, the better it will handle the stressors, and the better it will be able to celebrate when that time arrives.
